This weekend was very busy and very exhausting.  I did not want to do anything yesterday.  Today is a little better, but not a lot.  It was all worth it to raise money for the youth.  We did pretty well, but still have more to raise.

Saturday we helped setup for the yard sell and then spent the rest of the day on a car wash.  Sunday in addition to all the normal church activities we had a lunch.

It was a good weekend, one of those that you hate to see end even if you are physically and mentally exhausted.  Coming home to nothing is really hard after all the things that went on.  Not really sure if that makes sense to anyone, but that is where I am at.

Monday at work was hard.  We had a lot of problems and I was having trouble thinking clearly.  I was really hoping to leave on time and get some of the mundane things that have to be done that I did not get to this weekend.  Did not get to leave until an hour and a half late.

Today I was still having a really hard time focusing and did not get as much done as I needed, but don’t really know what I could do to change that.  I just did my best and hope that is good enough, it is not like it really matters the more I do now just means the more that they will add right before the release and I will just end up having to stay late either way.

Speaking of work, I finally got my Christmas present!  They got us digital picture frames.  The first one I got did not work and the second had a rose colored frame.  After that there were some staff changes and I think it got forgot.  One of the other people who had the same problems I did emailed and reminded them that we never got ours and now we do.  I just tried and it works!

I had a pretty good “run” today.  Made it around the apartment complex there times, four if you want to count the walking I did on the fourth time around.  I am still very very slow, but it is nice to at least have an improvement in distance.  Not to say that the distance I am going is anything that anyone would be proud of.

This was the weekend of music.  Friday night church had song writers’ night.  Bryon Rice and Charles Green performed they were both very good.  I really enjoy those nights at church and getting to hear new artists.  I hope they keep it up.

Saturday we were going to go to the Earth Day festivities, but the rain changed our minds.  Instead we went to a bunch of the stores next until it was time to meet for musical even two of the weekend.  The picture is Spence and me getting ready to race while waiting on the others to arrive.  Ran three races, added more people on the other two, and I almost passed out.  I am so out of shape, but I did manage to win all three!

We went to do dinner and then to see Casting Crowns.  Wonderful show!  Great time with wonderful people.  I love it when we get to do things with the youth, and of course all our friends who joined us!

What a week I had last week. It was really bad, but surprisingly I am ok with that. When the weekend got here more bad things happen. Not all bad, had a couple happy things happen that make me not focus on the bad quite so much.

Saturday went to the Nashville Zoo for the first time ever. Work had a lunch thing there so we go to go for the day if we wanted. Not the greatest zoo I have ever been to, but it was pretty entertaining. Got to hang out with Sis and Julie which is something I don’t do enough of so that was good. On the way out we ran into Noelle and Ani which was a very pleasant surprise, I had not seen them in a couple of weeks.

On the way home from the zoo I was driving along minding my own business when I ran up on what looked to be a pallet that had been ran over by a few cars. Well I add another car to that count, since I could not avoid it. Thought it was no big deal and came home changed clothes and when for a little (and I do mean little I am still not doing all that great) jog/run. When I was coming back to where my car is parked I noticed that I was sitting a little funny. Well turns out my front driver side tire was completely flat. With the help of Sis got the ghetto little tire on there. Leah and Mandy were kind enough to come pick up on their way back from Cookeville so I did not have to try and drive that far on the stupid little tire. Sunday after church Leah and Heather where very sweet and drove me back home.

After I got back home I drove around trying to find a place to fix my tire. Finally found a place and was there for 15 minutes when they told me it could not be fix and that I would have to buy a new one. They had a list for me to pick from. None of them where the same brand as the tires already on my car, so I told them no thank you. They looked at me like I was the biggest idiot on the planet. I know it is stupid, but it would have driven me mad to not have all four tires being at least the same brand. To keep this from getting to much longer, I stayed out of work today to find a tire and now have four normal tires again all of the same brand. You have no idea how slow 50 is until you can’t drive over it with out dying.

I am sure by now that ever one has seen the celebrity look alike things, if not you upload a picture of your face and it tells you what celebrities you look like.  I have seen a lot of them that friend have done.  I thought I would give it a try.  The results are I am a freak.  Everyone that I have seen have all the celebrities have been of the same sex as the person in the original picture.  My celebrities are half female and half male, not really sure what that says about me, regardless I will not be posting it for anyone to see.

In other new, I reached a goal!  It took me a heck of a lot longer that was originally planned, but it is hard to stay on track when other people are involved.  Five or six months late is a lot better than never right?  Now I am on to the next one.

I went to Cleveland Friday night and part of Saturday.  Felt like I only had half a weekend.  Tired but don’t want goto bed.  Anyone want to stay up all night with me and talk about anything and everything?

I had a really wonderful weekend.  I have been trying to think of a way to explain, but nothing seems to do it justice.  I guess I will just start.  Friday I ended up having to work over which put me in a pretty grumpy mood.  I had plans and was going to be late.  I hate being late.  I hate being on time really.  I am alway early, I might not go in where ever I am going early, but I am there before it is time to be there.  I ended up getting to Leah and Mandy’s later than I wanted, but before most people had gotten there.  It was a great night of friends, fish, and new stories about Mandy.  Mandy’s dad was in for the weekend and came with a ton of fish that was fried.  Mandy’s dad comes with stories that I have never heard, so I really enjoy hearing about her growing up.  It was really a good time with everyone.

Saturday was interesting, but fun in its own way.  Leah’s dad got tickets to the race Saturday since Mandy’s dad is a fan.  None of the rest of us care a single thing about racing.  My dad said if I ever went to one in person I would like it, well he was wrong.  It was boring and cold, but over the course of the day I really enjoyed myself, but again that had nothing at all to do with the race, it was getting to hang out with my girls.  One really cool thing about Saturday was that we go to see Third Day!  I was maybe 15 feet from the band and a good deal closer to some huge freaking speakers.  I could not hear out of my right ear very well until this morning.  Saturday night we watch a movie had a really bad ending.

Sunday was of course Easter.   With the kids that is always a very busy day.  We spent the first service setting up the kids room to handle all the kids we were expecting, and hiding eggs for the hunt after the second service.  Second service is when we have the kids.  One of the kids I had not seen in a long time was in the nursery so I went in there.  After church the kids ran around like crazy collecting eggs.  It was a great day.

Like I was saying I had a great weekend, and I know I have not properly conveyed the reason, but at least you have some idea.

I have once again canceled my netflix account. I have one more movie to watch and then I am done. More than likely at some point in the future I will rejoin. I don’t think it will ever be a service I subscribe to continuously. It is great for the winter time when it is cold out, but now that the weather is getting nicer I don’t need it. It also means I will fall behind on movies once again, but who cares.

This week has been ok. Nothing really note worthy. In case you have not noticed I have been slowly been posting pictures from a couple of weeks ago on flickr. You all are dirty people seeing that the squirrel picture has gotten a lot more views than any of the others.

I am very ready for the weekend. The whole time change thing has really screwed with my ability to sleep, so I am hoping to catch up this weekend.

Target is open now, but it has been so packed that I have not even tried to go yet. I am thinking maybe Saturday I will brave the crowds and check it out.

This weekend was wonderful outside. I have put a couple of pictures I took on Saturday up on flickr. In the picture of the squirrel I got more than I barged for, but had to post it anyway. Hoping some of you will at least get a laugh out of it.

Just some FYI, the server transfer went though just fine along with the DNS transfer. If anyone sees any problems let me know, but things have been running great for the last week so I don’t think we will have any problems.

This past weekend wore me out. By the end of day yesterday I was almost falling asleep at the keyboard. Today I did not feel sleepy, but from what my co-works were saying I was being a grump. They were right, I cough myself thinking some very grumpy things.

Isn’t it funny how when you think you might finally be figuring some stuff out things end up more confused than ever?

I have a song I want to hear. I don’t know the artist, title, or any of the words. All I know is it a sad sounding song with a female singing. I talked to Dusty about this and he is right I am going to have to go though everything I have to find it. I am not sure I want to hear it that bad.

I forgot to mention, but I finally finished all the complete Sherlock Holmes book that I bought a few years ago. I had a lot of trouble with it at first, but after I got used to the language it was pretty enjoyable. I have now moved on to Jules Verne. It has four of five of his novels in it so I will be reading it for awhile. After I finish that I maybe asking for some reading suggestions.

Saturday evening/night we build a fire! The temperature was great for it. I don’ t know what it is but I alway have liked poking around a fire. I remember when Dad used to make me go “camping” with him and his friends. Fire was fun back then, but I did not stay around it since it was always surrounded by drunk adults.

Sunday I finally joined the church. About time right? I thought so too.

Interesting weekend. Don’t think anything went as planed, but that is ok I guess. Saturday met family in Cookeville for lunch. After that met Mandy and Leah and Leah’s parents for a little bit. After that I had to be back in Nashville for a little get together for Sidda’s third birthday.

When I got to Opery Mills I was getting out of the car about to grab my camera when I thought to myself it is just for dinner I will not need it. Huge mistake. I missed so many good pictures because I was stupid and did not bing my camera in. So now I am stuck with nothing but crappy cell phone pictures.

My head is completely stopped up. I can’t sleep as much as I would like because I wake up not being about to get a enough air. I don’t like this one bit. If that was not bad enough the boss is out at work this coming week and I really do not need to miss. We will see how it goes.

I am going to take some medicine and go to bed.

The weekend report.  Friday hung out with Sis.  Watched a movie or two and had some food.  It was fun and nice to get and spend some time with her.

Saturday I was up at six.  I tried my best to sleep more, but it just would not happen.  I am not really sure what has gotten in to me, but I have been trying to sleep a lot more.  When I wake up I try and make myself go back to sleep.  Not really sure what that is all about, but I think I would rather go back to jumping up out of bed instead of try to sleep all the time.  After I finally rolled myself out of bed I took a shower and went to do a bit of shopping that I had to get out of the way.  Food and a few other misc. things that I have been needing, nothing that is any fun.

Saturday night we went to a church thing.  Once a month different groups from all over town go to peoples house to eat and hang out.  It was mostly a good time.  The only bad part is we played one of those game where you have to do things to get people to guess whatever evil thing happens to be on the card you got.  Need less to say I made a huge fool out of myself many times during this game.  I turn red thinking about it.  One of the ones I had to do was Dances With Wolves and I had to do it without speaking.  Everyone laughed at my attempt at dancing for a really long time.

Today was church.  During the second service, the time which I spend helping with the children, I was in the nursery with one of our host from Saturday night.  We were talking and some how we got to talking about me being shy.  To my surprise she disagreed with me, but the more that I think about it the more I can see how she would have been surprised.  We had met a couple of weeks before when she worked in the nursery for the first time.  When I am in the nursery I have the kids and I act crazy and could careless about what else is going on.  In general I am pretty comfortable at church and have my people that I can talk to.  I have never really thought about it before today, but if someone sees me in that setting they would get a false sense of me.  That does not exactly sound right.  It is me that they would see, but I am really not out going.  It freaks me out that people could see me as out going when it is far from what I am.  If they saw me some when I was uncomfortable there is not telling what they would think.  I have no idea if this is coming out where anyone else can understand it.

After church we met Leah’s parents and they bought us a very tasty lunch.  I always like seeing Leah’s parent they are good people and I really enjoy getting to spend time with them.
